As an intern in the Denmark program, you will get the opportunity to be involved in a modern dairy operation. The program can include: milking, feeding, cleaning, and record keeping; harvesting forage and grain; treatment of sick animals; and waste disposal and sanitation. You may also have the chance to be involved with the host breeding and nutrition program as well. Dairy set-ups have either a tie-stall/stanchion barn or a free stall and parlour set-up.

Criteria for Eligibility: The candidate must be pursuing a degree in agriculture.

By participating in one of the USA’s exchange programs, you will be able to strengthen your existing skills while learning new techniques that will help you feel more confident and prepared for the future. These accomplishments could never be acquired in the classroom alone, as they are the direct result of the one-on-one training between USA Hosts and exchange visitor participants.
Eligible Criteria:
- The candidate must be pursuing a degree in agriculture.
- Graduate candidates can apply before the completion of 12 months from the pass out date.
- If a candidate graduated more than a year ago, they must have relevant agricultural experience.
